It's a Boy!!

Thank heaven for little boys! We have been extremely blessed through this entire journey and the icing on the cake today was that we found out we will be having a little Brady running around! We already decided on the name: Jayden Kent. We're beaming and so very happy!

Mirror Mirror

I was looking in the mirror the other day...wondering to myself why in the world people (women in particular) say the things they do about other women. According to random women I've met for the FIRST time like to ask me all sorts of questions as to why "I'm so BIG!" Must I explain my answer to them?! No...instead I just tend to keep my mouth shut...BUT I can't keep it shut anymore! It's becoming more and more apparent that women were not brought up the same way I was! Or they just don't care...

Last night my husband & I were at my sister's church participating in the Seder. We had followed my sister to the nursery to get my youngest nephew & niece. I don't remember how we got on the subject, but my sister & I were talking about how far along we were. We said "We're 14 weeks" the lady didn't understand why we were saying it in weeks. So we broke it down for her and said "We're about 3 1/2 months" As soon as I said that, the lady freaked and said "WWWHHHAAAT???? You're 3 1/2 months?! Wow!!" (Basically implying that my stomach was bigger than it probably should be) 

It doesn't bother me that people think I'm bigger than what "I should be", what bothers me is that they don't need to voice their opinions every time I tell them how far along I am. 

So next time you look in the mirror and wonder what you could do to change something about you...don't wonder, because the women who talk bad about you are the ones that are jealous of you!

14 Weeks!!!

I'm 14 weeks today!! Officially in my 2nd trimester! Baby D has lots going on this week! Baby D can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his/her thumb! His/her kidneys are producing urine, which he releases into the amniotic fluid around him — a process he'll keep up until birth. Your baby's stretching out. From head to bottom, he/she measures 3 1/2 inches — about the size of a lemon — and he/she weighs 1 1/2 ounces. ♥

 We find out in 6 weeks whether we'll have a baby Chloe or a baby Jayden ;)

 

30 weeks left!! (or so)

Sorry it's been awhile y'all! Well if you haven't heard, my Sister's due date actually changed from October 12th to October 4th! This means she is now due 3 days after me!!

My belly is still growing, getting harder & no longer can suck in! (LOL)

I promise I'll post more pics soon! Also we move into our house at the end of this month!!! Have we started packing yet? No! Come help!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today most people share Valentine's Day with their boyfriend/girlfriend, spouse or significant other of _____ (fill in the blank) years...but I celebrate today with my Hubbers. The reason it's so special is because it's our first Valentine's day as a married couple! I couldn't be more blessed with such an amazing man! Today isn't about the flowers, cards or candy, but the time that I spend with him. Though, I don't mind the flowers, cards & candy ;)

5 weeks and moving along

Good morning all!! Hope you've all had a fantastic week! If not, then we'll just pray its better next week! :)

Update on Baby Davidson: he/she is the size of a poppy seed. One of my apps says it is the size of a sweet pea seed. Either way, he/she is growing! My weeks start on Mondays, which is nice because I'm able to remember them!


It's still my pudge, but I was told that I should take a ton of pics during my pregnancy...which is what I am doing!! :))

First appointment is on the 20th, I'll be 8 weeks!

Other amazing news that I got on Thursday was:

She is literally due 11 days after me! :) 

I'm beyond thrilled to be pregnant at the same time that I am!!!
