Busy mom, busy life...

I think I have officially become that mom that doesn't update her blog as often as she would like....I'm updating you on Jayden, Brady & I, but more than likely it'll be a lot of Jayden ;) Jayden will be 5 months on the 25th!! I'm not sure where the time has gone, but it needs to slow down!!

As far as how I'm doing, I'm officially starting MOPS  today! I could have chosen one a lot closer to where I live, but considering my sister went with me last month to one in DeSoto, I'm already hooked on that group and the ladies! Brady is still working hard so that this mom can stay home (which I'm so very thankful he's giving me a year)! He's also still fixing iPhones, iPods & iPads on the side. Jayden is doing good, after all that's the reason you came to read my blog anyway, right?!?! ;) Haha, just messing with you!

Jayden is doing really good! He's learning so much! He has mastered rolling from his tummy to his back, but not from his back to his tummy. In fact, he gets to frustrated because his arm will not move when he's rolling over! Just in the last few days he has learned so much! February 3rd, he discovered his ears! February 6th, he discovered his toes, or as Brady would call them, his tootsies. And just yesterday he REACHED FOR ME!!! He's an extremely happy and good baby and we're so incredibly blessed! Not to mention, he's so very handsome and he stole my heart just like his daddy!

Here's some pics to share with y'all!!
Hanging with mommy at the coffee shop in Red Oak. There was LIVE music there, which we happen to know the people & Jayden LOVED it!!
Oh you know, just carrying on a conversation with daddy ;)

His 4 month birthday just happened to be the day we went to our first MOPS meeting!

Sitting like a big boy at church in some super cute clothes his mommy (me) dressed him in!
I hope you're doing well and from the bottom of my heart,
God Bless You!

A Davidson Christmas

As we get closer to Christmas, we must remember the true meaning of this season. Remember that God blessed a virgin, Mary, who was to be married to a carpenter, Joseph, with the Son of God. Remember that Jesus was born to become our Savior, who later was crucified for our sins.

Although it has become a national holiday to celebrate the giving of gifts, getting wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of craziness.

Granted, I'm human, I enjoy gift giving, but as my parents taught both my sister and I the TRUE meaning of CHRISTmas. I plan to teach my son the real meaning as well.

Between visiting family and the giving and receiving of gifts this year, please remember to take time out of your busy day to give the glory to God, the maker & healer of all things.

So without further ado, Brady & I want to wish you and yours a Very Merry Christmas!! God Bless each of you this year!

Handmade Jewelry

Are you in need of some handmade jewelry? Is there something you've been eyeing for awhile, but don't want to pay the ridiculous price? Please check out my niece's Etsy shop, Country Hobbies. She is currently on "vacay" but if you send her a pic of what you would like, she is absolutely super at getting it for you!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go check her out!

Wow! What an aim!

Funny story that happened a little bit ago!

As I was bathing Jayden, I heard something sound like it was running water. I look up and noticed that my little boy has successfully peed! Aiming right towards our tree! I couldn't stop laughing and finally made a joke to him saying, "Wow you just watered our FAKE tree!!" He is now all cleaned up and is talking (cooing & making noises)! I'm pretty for sure he told daddy on the phone that he peed on the tree! LOLOLOLOL

Here's the evidence to prove this too funny thing:

My sweet little boy makes me laugh and smile all the time! Happy 10 week birthday to that sweet little snuggle bug!

Also, I decided he needed to wear this cute outfit today (get as much use in before Christmas actually arrives ;))
Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!

God Bless!

Thankfulness

I've been doing these "thankful for" posts on Facebook the last couple of weeks and I thought to myself the other day, 'Why are we just doing it the month of November? What if we did it throughout the year?'

Then of course I really started thinking and I was like 'Are there really 365 things I am thankful for?'

So basically I am challenging myself to start posting 1 thing a day, whether it be on here or Facebook.

God blesses us with so much each day, I'm sure there's a ton we can give God thanks to!

P.S. I'm up early because around this time, my stomach likes to start growling... sometimes earlier. So while my boys sleep, I'm up enjoying coffee & some breakfast :)

God Bless~

28th Birthday

Well I'm officially getting older...but I can't complain because....

I have an amazing Hubber's who loves me for me and all of my flaws!
I have a little boy who can brighten my day, no matter if I haven't had any sleep!
I have parents who love me & I love them!
I have the most amazing in-loves (some would call them in-laws) who love me like their 2nd daughter!
I have a pretty awesome sis whom I do look up to in more ways than she can imagine
My sis-in-love is a great girl! She has a ton going for her: almost through with college, a great boyfriend & a great job!
Not to mention, I have a goofy Brother-in-law who doesn't treat me any different...it's as if we were bro & sis all along!
And, last BUT definitely not least, MY AMAZING NIECES & NEPHEWS!! Up until recently I had only had the pleasure of being an aunt, but I'm glad I had that title first because it taught me so much about my own child!
Well I guess I forgot to add one more: my friends :) These are the ones who you go and have coffee with, have a friend date with or just talk to :)

I'd say my 28th year is going to be great & I'm so very blessed to have these people in my life. I'm so thankful that each of them made it very special for me!!
