Countdown...da da da

1 month, 2 weeks & 6 days......  OR ... 7 weeks (this Saturday)....  OR ...  51 days left! No matter how you say it, whichever is easiest for you....that's how long we have till YOU get to see Brady & I say our VOWS, our "I DOs" and when we get to have our first KISS as Mr. & Mrs. Brady Davidson. :)

I've waited 8 months for this day to come, and now to think we only have a month or so left is like completely surreal! After all the planning, sending out invites, and preparation is done, I've now learned what it means to feel relaxed just in time for "MY BIG DAY" .

Ahhhhh I SSSSSSOOOOOO can't wait!!!!!!

1 year ago today...

....I fell in love with the man of my dreams. I remember this night like it was yesterday. We had decided to go out to eat to Joe's Crab Shack on a Monday--but he was sick, so we went that Tuesday (April 19th 2010). We sat outside because it was beautiful weather-not too hot, not too cold. Enjoyed a drink that came with 2 toy sharks :) (which we still have) and some AMAZING shrimp! Later that night we went back to his parents house, watched some tv and then as he was walking me out to my car he decided he wanted to sit down on the curb and look at the stars, then casually asked me "Kim, will you be my girlfriend?" And if anyone knows me, you know I'm a dork, so of course I said yes :) Since that night we've had an incredible adventure! I hardly go a few days without seeing him and if it has been a few days, it's totally worth it because when I see that handsome man walk in, my heart melts all over again!!! God truly blessed me and I'm so extremely thrilled that I get to share my memories with him! Happy Anniversary to the love of my life, Brady Davidson!

2 MONTHS!!!!!

Well it's officially official: We have 2 months till the wedding!! Soon enough I'll be counting down weeks, then days and then HOURS!! Oh how I can't wait to be Mrs. Brady Davidson! <3

After spending a weekend away from Brady and then coming back home to see his smiling face, I've now realized that my weekends will more than likely be spent with him...and occasional girls night. Don't get me wrong, my girls weekend was a blast! I don't regret going, but it made it easier to come home and give him a HUGE hug!!

I keep getting advice on "wedding stuff" and one thing that has stuck in my mind is that "when it all boils down to it, the only important thing is that it's all about you & Brady"-- Christy Carpenter
So with that being said, and with all that's been going in on planning this wedding, I'm not stressing over the small stuff and just letting everything go! There are lots of small details in every wedding that no one seems to notice, but you know what? That doesn't matter as long as I'm in my man's arms :)

Until next time...enjoy your day, make the best of it & Thank God that you're still breathing!

One Adventure after another...

So I figured you'd be interested in knowing how my day of Bridal pics went! It was just ONE ADVENTURE AFTER ANOTHER!!
In the process of walking to pay to get into the Dallas Arboretum, there was a lady standing there with her clipboard in hand (guessing she was the Event Coordinator), and we noticed her saying something very loud, but very monotone and directed towards us. As we got closer the lady was saying  " You can not get dressed on these premises, it is illegal to get dressed on these premises. You need to change in YOUR car or in a public restroom!" She repeated this about 4 times until we actually realized she was talking to us!
So needless to say that was ADVENTURE #1. Getting dressed in my gown, in my mother's car. Boy will that be a memory! Oh thank goodness for the "bring a towel" tip that both Holli & Brittney gave my mom & I. We draped 1 towel over the front chairs to create a wall, then draped a coat on the door to create another wall. We then had to put my bra thingy on while I was sitting down, and the joys of getting this slip on was probably the most difficult part of the whole process! LOL
Needless to say we got it on! And as we were walking back up there to pay the Event Coordinator stood there just staring at us, probably realizing that we weren't going to let her stand in our way! We were on a mission!

ADVENTURE #2.
I officially know what it's like to be in a wedding gown and having to go to the bathroom! There was no way I was going to be able to do this photo shoot unless I went to the bathroom! We get to the bathroom and guess what?! Of course, the floors are gross, it's hot and there's tons of ladies staring you down because you're about to attempt something most ladies would never try to do! Needless to say, I pulled the back of my dress up around me as Miss D held the door for me! It was a successful stop to the bathroom! We got in & we got out!

I enjoyed every bit of my day today and thankful for all the ladies that participated in helping make me look so beautiful! You ladies are the best!!!
